This is a request by Professor Robert Badinter, Professor Irwin Cotler, Professor David Crane, Professor Jean-François Gaudreault-DesBiens, Lord David Pannick and Professor Guglielmo Verdirame,1 pursuant to the Pre-Trial Chamber’s “Order setting the procedure and the schedule for the submission of observations” of 28 January 2020, for leave to file written observations as amicus curiae on the question of jurisdiction in order to assist the Court in ruling on the “Prosecution Request pursuant to article 19(3) for a ruling on the Court’s territorial jurisdiction in Palestine” of 22 January 2020 (the “Prosecutor’s Request”).
